Theatre on the Steps

With a theatre of 180 seats, the 'Theatre on the Steps' in Bridgnorth is an enjoyable night out whenever you're in the mood!
Formerly a Congregational Chapel, it was converted to a theatre in 1964 and was bought by the local amateur Drama Society. Since then it has undergone massive refurbishment and now offers all sorts of performances, ranging from drama to music and dance for 45 of the 52 weeks in a year.
As the theatre gains a larger and larger reputation, their audiences has risen to over 12,000 as they attract audiences from not only Shrewsbury, but the West Midlands and the rest of the country as well.
